Waterproofing method for pools/water tanks (cement mortar surfaces)

    1. Remove all objects, dust, and loose material from the construction surface.
    2. Fill hive-shaped defects with cement mortar.
    3. Apply powdery silicate cement coating diluted with water (1:1) as a primer to the construction surface.
    4. Coating of cracks and seams should be partially reinforced by adding a putty-like mixture of powdery silicate cement coating diluted with water (2:1) (crack resistance may be enhanced by fitting an anti-crack polyester mesh)
    5.  Apply at least two coats of a putty-like mixture of powdery silicate cement coating diluted with water (2:1) on the construction surface with a brush or roller (the thickness of each layer should not exceed 1mm).
    6.  After a curing time of at least 7 days upon application, the pool/tank may be filled with water for testing or a protective layer of cement mortar or tiles may be added.
