Transparent waterproofing with formed membranes (wall tiles or sponge-washed exposed aggregate concrete surfaces)
- Remove or wash off all objects, dust, and loose material from tiled or pebbledashed (sponge-washed exposed aggregate concrete) external walls and allow a drying time of at least three days (construction surfaces must be completely dry to prevent a whitish appearance of coatings).
- Fine cracks on construction surfaces should be filled with neutral transparent silicone sealant (fillers must be free of waterproofing agents to prevent impacts on the adhesiveness of the follow-up transparent waterproofing paint). For deeper dents or cracks, use cement paste with mixed algae powder as a filler to facilitate formation of a continuous waterproof membrane. Wait until the construction surface is completely dry.
- Apply 2-3 coats of oil- or water-based transparent paint for tiles on the whole tiled or exposed aggregate concrete surface at 30-60-minute intervals.
- During application, protective measures must be adopted to avoid damage or breakage through dripping and contact of the aforementioned products with PC or plastic boards.
