Single-component, water-based, elastic waterproofing membrane
【Description】
P-652C is a single-component flexible cementitious waterproofing coating. It is formulated with acrylic polymer, special inorganic aggregates, and other chemical components. It demonstrates high elasticity and excellent adhesion.
【Properties】
- Strong adhesion and excellent water resistance.
- Higher elasticity than regular two-component flexible cementitious waterproofing coating.
- Easy application by brush or roller (not easily clumped).
- Ready to use by simply hand stirring with a wooden stick (electric mixer for better results).
- Water-based, non-toxic and odorless. The substrate can be damp or slightly wet, but ponding water has to be avoided.
【Uses】
Waterproofing and maintenance for roofs, bathrooms, external walls, cold joints, areas surrounding window frames, balconies, atriums, external basement walls.
【Methods】
- Remove all objects, dust, and loose material from the surface.
- Reinforce waterproofing protection at leak-prone areas (cracks, external corners, cold joints, and drains) by wet-on-wet application: Apply 2-3 coats of P-652C. Embed anti-cracking mesh when the first coating is still wet.
- For full coating, apply Plimates waterproof primer based on the surface on which the system is to be applied. Wait for the primer to dry, then apply P-652C diluted with 0-5% water for at least 2-3 coats (the maximum recommended thickness per layer is 1mm). Each coat should be completely dry before proceeding with the subsequent layer.
