Single-component, water-based, no after-tack and easy application rubberized bituminous waterproofing coating
【Description】
Plimates EasyPU P-056C is a copolymer-modified rubberized bitumen waterproofing coating. It forms a non-tacky membrane with high tensile strength and resistance to blistering.
【Properties】
- Water-based, non-toxic and no after-tack. Breathable and can be applied over damp surfaces.
- High tensile strength and superior adhesion.
【Uses】
Waterproofing projects for roofs, bathrooms, external basement walls, atriums etc.
【Methods】
- Remove all objects, dust, and loose material from the surface.
- Reinforce waterproofing protection at leak-prone areas (cracks, external corners, cold joints, and drains) by wet-on-wet application: Apply 2-3 coats of P-656C. Embed anti-cracking mesh when the first coating is still wet.
- For full coating, apply Plimates waterproof primer based on the surface on which the system is to be applied. (Apply Plimates AquaPrime Cure P-012C if there is any serious chalky condition.) Wait for the primer to dry completely, then mix P-656C with 0-10% water and apply 2-3 coats to the whole surface (the maximum recommended thickness per layer is 1mm). Each coat should be completely dry before proceeding with the subsequent layer.
