Single-component, water-based, heat insulation waterproofing acrylic finish paint
【Description】
P-276C is a pure acrylic polymer, resistant to water, alkali and weathering. A thick, high-gloss elastomeric membrane is formed after curing. It has excellent tensile strength and dirt resistance. It is also non-toxic, odorless, and non-corrosive. P-276C (white) provides optimal thermal insulation performance by reducing thermal conductivity and preventing heat transfer on surfaces such as cementitious surfaces, corrugated sheets and metal sheets.

【Uses】
- Used as water-based elastomeric coating for crack resistance, waterproofing, heat insulating, and decorative protection of external walls of concrete structures and roofs.
- Used as topcoat for general water-based rubberized asphalt, flexible cementitious waterproofing coating etc.
【Methods】
- Remove all objects, dust, and loose material from the surface.
- Reinforce waterproofing protection at leak-prone areas (cracks, external corners, cold joints, and drains) by wet-on-wet application: Apply 2-3 coats of Plimates elastomeric waterproofing layer (e.g., water-based PU, flexible cementitious waterproofing coating). Embed anti-cracking mesh when the first coating is still wet.
- Full coating application：
- Apply Plimates waterproof primer based on the surface on which the system is to be applied. Wait for the primer to dry.
- Then, apply 2-3 coats of Plimates elastomeric waterproofing layer (e.g., water-based PU, flexible cementitious waterproofing coating). Each coat should be completely dry before proceeding with the subsequent layer.
- Allow drying time for at least a day, then apply P-276C diluted with 0-10% water for at least 2 layers (Note: approximately 30 minutes between each coat).
【Reminders】
- Apply multiple thin coats for better results; excessive film thickness in one layer is prone to cracking.
- Ensure complete coverage to protect the area from any latent leakage which may cause blisters, bubbles, peeling and flaking.
- Flood test can only be done when the coating is fully cured (requires about 7 days) to avoid premature issues such as blisters and bubbles.
