Immersion-type Anti-leak Silicate Liquid P-250
The Company has developed this silicate-based waterproofing material to meet market demands for waterproofing agents to fix leaky tiles in bathrooms. This product provides a simple and convenient solution if tile removal and retiling or high-pressure grout injection is not possible or not taken into consideration.
【Properties】
- Formation of solid crystals in 0.5mm-wide cracks in RC and effective filling/sealing of cracks for optimal leak stoppage.
- Simple and convenient application, no special tools required, no chiseling or digging required, existing structures are left undamaged.
【Uses】
Leak solution for tiled bathrooms if removal of tiles is not considered.
【Methods】
- Prior to application, areas surrounding floor drains must be kept dry to facilitate the sealing process.
- Seal the floor drains by covering them with plastic cups or containers placed upside down which are secured and sealed with hot melt or silicone.
- Upon confirmation that no leakage of the silicate agent is possible at the sealed cup edges, pour the P-250 anti-leak silicate liquid which has been 10-20 times diluted with water on the bathroom floor until the whole floor surface is covered.
- After soaking the floor for at least 48 hours, the diluted agent may be drained upon confirmation of plugging (leaking stoppage). The tile surface should be rinsed with clear water.
- The diluted agent should also be poured into existing access openings for bathtubs (drainage holes must still be sealed) to ensure that the floor area underneath the tub is also soaked in the agent.
