Dual-effect Waterproofing Paint with Added Fiber P-373C
This product employs waterproof and alkali and weather resistant pure acrylic resins. After curing and membrane formation, a thick and glossy elastomer is generated. This product is characterized by exceptional tensility and impermeability. It is non-toxic, odorless, and non-corrosive.
【Properties】
- Corrects the shortcomings of generic waterproofing or cement paint products available on the market including low glossiness, lack of brushability, and lack of crack resistance and waterproofing effects.
- The maximum wet membrane thickness is considerably higher than that of generic elastic finish paint. Coatings with a thickness in excess of 1mm are less prone to cracking. This product is ideal for DIY projects and can be utilized as a waterproofing mid-coat and finish paint (dual effect).
- Addition of strengthened fiber enhances the crack resistance capability (product is not suitable for spray coating).
【Uses】
- Finish paint for generic water-based rubberized asphalt (“black glue") and elastic cement
- Water-based, elastic coating material for external walls of concrete structures and rooftops with crack resistance, waterproofing, heat insulation, decorative, and protective properties
【Methods】
- Remove all objects, dust, and loose material from the construction surface.
- Reinforce coating of cracks, parapet angles, and new/old seams and attach a crack-resistant glass fiber mesh.
- Apply one coat of waterproofing primer followed by at least 2-3 coats of waterproofing paint diluted by adding 0%-10% water.
【Reminders】
- The surface must be completely covered to prevent peeling off or bubble / bulge formation caused by seepage on the sides.
- If verification and testing of waterproofing layers is required, a curing period of 7 days must be allowed to prevent bubble/bulge formation under uncured membranes
- If the product is utilized as roof finish paint, 50% No.9 silica sand may be added to the first coat to prevent peeling off or wrinkle formation resulted from soaking in low-lying areas.
