【Description】
P-731 is a breakthrough product for external wall waterproofing coating, mainly composed of inorganic silicone resin (TiO2). It is a multipurpose topcoat with waterproofing, heat insulation, self-cleaning, protective, and dirt resistance capabilities, keeping the aesthetic appearance and extending the life span of a building.
【Properties】
- The photocatalyst TiO2 exhibits powerful oxidation and dirt decomposition capabilities when exposed to sunlight.
- Ultra-hydrophilic properties with self-cleaning protection. It forms a protective water film when exposed to rain, allowing the dirt on the surface to naturally wash away.
- Perfect solution for the issues of rain marks and stains.
【Uses】
- Used for waterproofing and thermal insulation maintenance projects for external walls.
- All-in-one protection for crack resistance, waterproofing, leak prevention, heat insulation, dirt resistance, and decorative protection of cementitious buildings external walls.
【Methods】
- Remove all objects, dust, and loose material from the surface.
- Apply Plimates waterproof primer based on the surface on which the system is to be applied. Wait for the primer to dry before applying subsequent coats.
- Apply at least 3 coats of P-731 diluted with 0-10% to the whole surface with the interval of 30 minutes. Each layer should not exceed 0.5mm. It is advisable not to apply in thick coat.
【Reminders】
- Ambient and surface temperature must be 15°C or higher during application and drying time.
- Do not attempt application if rain is imminent. Protect from rain (water) after the application (within 3 days) to avoid bubbles or blisters.
- Not recommended for use over high elasticity or premature substrates to avoid cracks and delamination on coatings.
- For optimum self-cleaning result, it is best to apply on vertical surfaces with ample sunlight to facilitate photocatalytic reactions.
