Waterproof Composite Acrylic Material P-3521C
P-3521C is a composite cement product composed of macromolecular latex acrylic resins, special high-alumina cement, aggregates, and other chemical components. It forms a weather- and water-resistant, durable, and tenacious coating membrane and composite waterproof layer. Excellent traceability of bottom layers is achieved through the formation of a supple and elastic waterproof layer. In addition, P-3521C is water-based, emulsified, non-toxic, and odorless and conforms to safety and sanitation regulations

【Uses】
Interlayer waterproofing projects for external walls, window frames, new/old seams, roofs, planter boxes, atrium gardens, bathrooms, water tanks, and external basement walls
【Methods】
- Remove all objects, dust, and loose material from the construction surface.
- Partially apply 2-3 coats of the mixture to pipe edges, cracks, and new/old seams (resin/powder ratio of 2:1). Attach a polyester mesh prior to drying of the first coat.
- Prior to full coating, apply a layer of Plimates waterproof primer. Allow a drying period of around 30 minutes. Then mix the resin, powder, and 5-10% water until a cement-like texture is generated. Apply 2-3 coats (the thickness of each layer should not exceed 1mm). Don’t apply the next layer until the previous layer is completely dry.
【Reminders】
- Stirring time must be sufficient to ensure even distribution of the powder.
- Addition of too much water to the resin-powder mixture tends to result in aggregate sedimentation which affects construction.
- The dried membrane is characterized by high ductility. It is therefore not advised to cover external walls with a thin layer of concrete polish to avoid crack formation.
