Ultra-strong Water-based EPOXY Waterproofing Agent P-928
【Properties】
- Applicable to wet surfaces, non-toxic, odorless, hydrostatic pressure resistant, acid and alkali resistant, tree root penetration resistant
- Waterproofing of atrium gardens, water tanks, reservoirs, pools, fish ponds, sewage tanks, and basements
【Methods】
- Surface treatment: Make sure the construction surface is dust and oil-free. Apply primer to holes, non-structural cracks, or surface damage, followed by a mid-coat of mortar for caulking.
- Apply the primer to the whole surface, followed around four hours later by three thin coats with a thickness of 2mm applied with a roller.
- If multi-layer mid-coats are required, allow a drying time of at least 2 hours for each layer (a polyester mesh for increased crack resistance may be fitted if deemed necessary).
- Allow around 8 hours for the hardening of the mid-coat before you continue with the next step (allow a curing time of 5 days if testing is required).
- To facilitate tile attachment and adhesion, scratch the surface with a tool as the last layer of the mid coat begins to solidify.
【Reminders】
- An ambient humidity in excess of 85% affects the hardening and curing process. Strengthen ventilation to facilitate evaporation.
- After the mixing of the main agent and the hardener, application must be completed within 30-60 minutes (the more powder is added, the shorter is the application time).
- Due to the material properties, this product is not suitable for waterproofing of outdoor exposed surfaces.
- This product is characterized by excellent adhesion; the construction surface must therefore be made of a hard and firm material (e.g., RC). No laitance, dust, or loose material should be present. The moisture content of the construction surface should not exceed 10% to prevent detachment and peeling off.
- Multiple thin coats should be applied to the construction surface (the thickness of each layer should not exceed 0.7mm). Thicker coatings in corners are prone to cracking.

【Consumption】
Base coat: A : B : water = 1:1:1→Around 0.2kg/m²
(One set of A + B is sufficient for 297m²)
Mid coat: A : B: water : powder (or cement, sand) = 1:1:1:4-7→Around 4kg/m² (thickness of around 2mm)
(One set of A + B + water + powder is sufficient for 40m²)
Added powder amounts affect the thickness of the mixture which should be increased/ decreased in accordance with actual needs.
