Thick-coat Elastic Cement A / B·H Series
This product does not require multiple coatings like generic elastic cement products. It has been optimized to meet thick coating requirements. The desired thickness can be achieved with one coat which is highly time- and cost-saving.
【Properties】

- Single 2-3mm-thick coats possible (maximum of 5mm without cracking) unlike generic elastic cement products available on the market which are prone to cracking if thick coats are applied
【Uses】
Interlayer waterproofing projects for bathrooms, external walls, new/old seams, reservoirs (non-toxic), and atriums.
【Methods】
- Remove all objects, dust, and loose material from the construction surface and maintain a moist condition.
- Moisten the surface with water-based primer diluted with water at a ratio of 1:3 (make sure no puddles are present).
- Allow a drying time of around 30 minutes, then partially apply a thick coat of elastic cement to reinforce the coating on crack and seams (a crack-resistant polyester mesh may be attached for enhanced anti-cracking effects).
- Mix one portion each of resin and powder to create a cement-like texture and apply one 2-3mm-thick coat with a trowel or scraper.
【Reminders】
- Membrane drying requires one to several days depending on membrane thickness and ventilation conditions.
- The whole thick-coat elastic cement combo (Plimates elastic cement product series consist of resin + thick-coat powder) must be applied to achieve optimal anti-cracking effects.
- If Plimates resin is solely mixed with cement, thick-coat elastic cement resin (AH) must be used. If the product is applied to vertical surfaces, cracking of excessively thick coatings in corners is prevented but dripping is bound to occur.
