Silicate-based crystalline sealer for soak-in application
【Description】
P-250 is a silicate-based waterproofing material specifically designed for basic leakage treatment after tile installation on bathroom floors. It provides an effective alternative for cases where tile removal and high-pressure injection methods are not applicable.
【Properties】
- Forms crystalline structures within RC cracks up to 0.5mm wide, effectively filling and sealing the capillaries to stop water leakage.
- Easy application without the need for special equipment - no tile removal, drilling, or damage to the existing surface.
【Uses】
Optimal for leak repair in tiled bathrooms without removing existing tiles.
【Methods】
- Ensure that the area around the drain before application to facilitate effective sealing.
- Seal the drain (by inverting a plastic cup/can over it, secure and seal it in place using hot glue or silicone sealant).
- Once the rim of the cup is securely sealed, dilute P-250 with water at a ratio of 1:10, then pour the diluted solution onto the bathroom floor. Ensure that the liquid level is sufficient to fully immerse the surface.
- Soak for at least 48 hours. If the leakage has been successfully sealed, drain the diluted solution and rinse the tiled surface thoroughly with water.
- If there is an access panel under the bathtub, open the panel and pour the diluted solution into it (be sure the drain is kept sealed), make sure the floor under the bathtub is also immersed.
【Reminders】
- Rinse the tiled surface with water. If white crystalline residue remains, scrub the area with a bathroom cleaner and a steel scrubber, then wipe clean with a cloth.
- This is a water-based product that has been tested by SGS and does not contain eight heavy metals.
