Solvent-based, transparent paint for tiles
【Description】
P-1625C is a multipurpose, single-component acrylic resin developed for inorganic materials like tiled walls, smooth surfaces for natural stone etc. The coating has outstanding water, alkali and dirt resistance characteristics, which is suitable as protective coating for tiled external walls. P-1625C demonstrates exceptional adhesion capability even when submerged in water.
【Uses】
Waterproofing and protection for tiles, pebbled wash walls, natural stone etc.
【Methods】
- Remove efflorescence, moss, and dust from the surface. Keep the surface dry. (High humidity conditions increase the probability of blooming.)
- Fill holes and cracks with Plimates ProLevel P-717.
- Apply 2-3 coats of P-1625C (dilute with 30% toluene) to the whole surface at intervals of 30-60 minutes between the coats.
【Reminders】
- Dilute with good quality toluene to avoid reducing the yellowing resistance performance.
- Excessive application may result in unattractive white haze.
- Make sure the surface is dry. Allow it to dry for 5-7 days if exposed to rain or water before applying P-1625C.
- It is advisable to cover any areas of polycarbonate (PC) roof or extension (awning) to prevent P-1625C drips from causing damage or rupture.
