Two-component, cement-based, elastic waterproofing membrane
【Description】
P-352C is a highly elastic two-part polymer which is mainly composed of polymer resins and EVA. When mixed with selected aggregate based on high alumina cement (powder), it can be formulated into a highly elastic waterproofing membrane with excellent adhesion.
【Properties】
- High solid content of 55%.
- Breathable and non-toxic. Can be applied over damp surfaces.
- It is cement based and has exceptional adhesion to RC. Tiles can be applied as the subsequent layer.
【Uses】
Intermediate layer waterproofing projects for external walls, areas surrounding window frames, cold joints, roofs, bathrooms, reservoirs (non-toxic), external basement walls, atriums, gardens, planters etc.
【Methods】
- Remove all objects, dust, and loose material from the surface.
- Reinforce waterproofing protection at leak-prone areas (cracks, external corners, cold joints, and drains) by wet-on-wet application: Apply 2-3 coats of P-352C (A+B) with the ratio of 2:1. Embed anti-cracking mesh when the first coating is still wet.
- For full coating, apply Plimates waterproof primer based on the surface on which the system is to be applied. Wait for the primer to dry. Mix P-352C (A+B) with 5-10% water until slurry consistency is formed. Apply 2-3 coats of the mixture (the maximum recommended thickness per layer is 1mm). Each coat should be completely dry before proceeding with the subsequent layer.
【Reminders】
- Ensure that the stirring time is sufficient to achieve a smooth, uniform mix.
- Addition of too much water (> 25%) to P-352C mixture prone to aggregate sedimentation, which will affect the application process.
