Two-component, cement-based, acrylic elastic waterproofing membrane
【Description】
P-207C is a composite waterproofing coating formed by blending acrylic emulsion, high-alumina cement aggregates (powder) and other chemical components. The composite waterproofing membrane is durable, water-resistant, highly elastic, water-based, non-toxic and odorless. It meets safety and health standard while offering exceptional cost-performance value.
【Properties】
- Solid content of 55%.
- Cement-based, applicable to damp surfaces and has exceptional adhesion to RC.
【Uses】
Intermediate layer waterproofing projects for external walls, areas surrounding window frames, cold joints, roofs, planters, atriums, gardens, bathrooms, external basement walls etc.
【Methods】
- Remove all objects, dust, and loose material from the surface.
- Reinforce waterproofing protection at leak-prone areas (cracks, external corners, cold joints, and drains) by wet-on-wet application: Apply 2-3 coats of P-207C (A+B) with the ratio of 2:1. Embed anti-cracking mesh when the first coating is still wet.
- For full coating, apply Plimates waterproof primer based on the surface on which the system is to be applied. Wait for the primer to dry. Mix P-207C (A+B) with 5-10% water until slurry consistency is formed. Apply 2-3 coats of the mixture (the maximum recommended thickness per layer is 1mm). Each coat should be completely dry before proceeding with the subsequent layer.
【Reminders】
- Ensure that the stirring time is sufficient to achieve a smooth, uniform mix.
- Addition of too much water (>25%) to P-207C prone to aggregate sedimentation, which will affect the application process.
