Single-component, water-based, strong adhesion primer for various substrates
【Description】
Plimates AquaPrime MAX P-112C demonstrates oustanding adhesion to a wide range of substrates including tiles, metal sheets, concrete and cement mortar. Formulated with a waterborne acrylic copolymer emulsion, it offers superior water and alkali resistance. Plimates AquaPrime MAX P-112C is capable of sealing pores and capillaries, consolidates chalky and deteriorated surfaces, effectively enhances the adhesion of subsequent coatings.
【Properties】
- Excellent penetration into asbestos cement sheets, concrete and cement mortar. Able to seal pores and capillaries, preventing the appearance of pinholes or bubbles/ blisters in the subsequent layers.
- Great bond with slippery surfaces such as tiles, glasses, and metallic surfaces.
- Excellent water and alkali resistance.
- Able to consolidate chalky and deteriorated cementitious surfaces or existing coatings.
【Uses】
Used as primer, sealer and bonding agent for water-based PU, flexible cementitious waterproofing membranes, and various finish coats.
【Methods】
RC or cementitious surfaces (absorbent)：
- Remove all objects, dust and loose material from the surface. Thoroughly pre-wet the prepared substrate with no standing water before application.
- Dilute P-112C with water at a ratio of 1:1. Application by roller, brush, broom (bristle brush) or spray equipment, ensures that P-112C penetrates the substrate and fully saturates the surfaces. Allow the coating to dry for approximately 30 minutes before proceeding with subsequent waterproofing system.
Tiles, metal sheets or existing coatings (non-absorbent)：
- Remove efflorescence, moss, and dust from the surface. Repair cracks or uneven tiles with Plimates ProLevel series (P-717 for vertical surfaces; P-737 for horizontal surfaces).
- Dilute P-112C with 20% water and stir thoroughly. Application by roller, brush, broom (bristle brush) or spray equipment to the surface. Allow the coating to dry for approximately 30 minutes before proceeding with subsequent waterproofing system.
