Single-component, water-based, ultra-strong curing primer
【Description】
Plimates AquaPrime Cure P-012C demonstrates oustanding adhesion to a wide range of substrates including concrete and cement mortar. Formulated with a waterborne acrylic copolymer emulsion, it offers superior water and alkali resistance. Plimates AquaPrime Cure P-012C is capable of sealing pores and capillaries, consolidates chalky and deteriorated surfaces, effectively enhances the adhesion of subsequent coatings.
【Properties】
- Excellent penetration into asbestos cement sheets, concrete and cement mortar. Able to seal pores and capillaries, preventing the appearance of pinholes or bubbles/ blisters in the subsequent layers.
- Excellent water and alkali resistance.
- Able to consolidate chalky and deteriorated cementitious surfaces or existing coatings.
【Uses】
Used as primer, sealer and bonding agent for water-based PU, flexible cementitious waterproofing membranes, and various finish coats.
【Methods】
RC or cementitious surfaces (absorbent)：
- Remove all objects, dust and loose material from the surface. Thoroughly pre-wet the prepared substrate with no standing water before application.
- Dilute P-012C with water at a ratio of 1:3. Application by roller, brush, broom (bristle brush) or spray equipment, ensures that P-012C penetrates the substrate and fully saturates the surfaces. Allow the coating to dry for approximately 30 minutes before proceeding with subsequent waterproofing system.
Existing coatings (non-absorbent)：
- Remove efflorescence, moss, and dust from the surface.
- Dilute P-012C with 20% water and stir thoroughly. Application by broom (bristle brush) or spray equipment to the surface. Allow the coating to dry for approximately 30 minutes before proceeding with subsequent waterproofing system.
