Single-component, water-based, easy application, anti-slip floor paint
【Description】
P-578C is a water-based floor paint composed of acrylic resin and a filler with high hardness. It is characterized by superior adhesion, water and weather resistance, and durability after curing. It is more cost-effective than traditional flooring system and does not exhibit the same shortcomings such as blister issues caused by rising moisture and lack of weather resistance when applied to outdoor areas.
【Properties】
- Water-based, safe, and environmentally friendly.
- Excellent resistance to negative water pressure and moisture vapor transmission issues in flooring.
- Can be used as a single agent or in combination with ‘slip and wear resistance aggregate’ to achieve optimal wear and stress resistance effects.
【Methods】
- Remove existing coatings, dust, and loose material from the surface and keep it dry.
- Apply 1-2 coats of P-578C diluted with water (1: 3) evenly as a primer and wait around 60 minutes to dry.
- Allow the primer to dry. Stir P-578C thoroughly, then apply at least 2 complete coverage thin coats at 60-minute intervals.
【Reminders】
- Fill and level the irregularities of substrate. Allow it to dry before proceeding with P-578C.
- General flooring (pedestrian walkway, commercial space): Ready-to-use by just stirring thoroughly once opened. Apply thinly.
- For environment which needs to withstand heavy pressure/weight (parking lot, warehouse etc.): slip and wear resistance aggregate should be added with the ratio of 1:1 (paint: aggregate). Mix thoroughly and apply a coat of the mixture with trowel (not exceeding 2mm). Allow it to dry, then apply one coat of P-578C thinly with roller to reduce the roughness of the surface.
- Upon completion, allow a curing period of 3 days prior to use. Laundry detergent can be used to clean dirt and stains from the floor paint.
- For high temperature outdoors, add 3-5% water to the mixture of P-578C with slip and wear resistance aggregate (1:1) for easier application.
- Avoid application for environment constantly immersed in hot water or oil.
