Plimates FlexiTop P-176C
P-176C is a single-component, high elasticity waterproofing coating material. It forms rubberized elastomeric membrane after curing and features excellent tensile strength and elongation. It has the characteristics of brightly colored, odorless, non-corrosive, and non-flammable.
【Properties】

【Uses】
- Used for waterproofing project for roofs, atriums, areas surrounding window frames, cold joints etc.
- Due to the raw material properties, colors may vary for every batch. Not recommended as top coat for external walls.
【Methods】
- Remove all objects, dust, and loose material from the surface.
- Reinforce waterproofing protection at leak-prone areas (cracks, external corners, cold joints, and drains) by wet-on-wet application: Apply 2-3 coats of Plimates elastomeric waterproofing layer (e.g., water-based PU, flexible cementitious waterproofing coating). Embed anti-cracking mesh when the first coating is still wet.
- Full coating application：
- Firstly, apply Plimates waterproof primer based on the surface on which the system is to be applied. Wait for the primer to dry.
- Then, apply 2-3 coats of Plimates elastomeric waterproofing layer (e.g., water-based PU, flexible cementitious waterproofing coating). Each coat should be completely dry before proceeding with the subsequent layer.
- Allow drying time for at least a day, then apply P-176C diluted with 0-10% water for at least 2 layers (Note: approximately 30 minutes between each coat).
【Reminders】
- Apply multiple thin coats for better results; excessive film thickness in one layer is prone to cracking.
- Ensure complete coverage. (Incomplete coverage can cause blisters, bubbles, peeling and flaking.)
- Flood test can only be done when the coating is fully cured (requires about 7 days) to avoid premature issues such as blisters and bubbles.
