P-262C Oil-based Single-fluid Transparent Waterproof Paint

P-262C Oil-based Single-fluid Transparent Waterproof Paint is a transparent external wall coating which is derived through copolymerization of macromolecular materials including oil-based yellowing-resistant polyurenthane and acryl. This coating material is characterized by high permeability and glossiness. It is capable of forming a continuous, seamless, colorless, and transparent membrane, thereby achieving waterproofing and anti-seepage effects.

Properties

  • Hard membrane and high glossiness.
  • Excellent alkali and weather resistance.
  • Outstanding adhesion to stone material surfaces.

Uses

Transparent waterproofing and brightening of vertical surfaces including sponge-bathed pebblewalls, water-washed pebble walls, and hewed stone walls.

Method

  • Remove efflorescence, moss, and fine dust from the construction surface and keep it dry (excessive moisture gives the membrane surface a whitish appearance).
  • Identify cracks and depressions and fill them with P-801 Rapid-hardening Water-plugging Powder.
  • Apply 2-3 coats to the whole waterproofing surface (mix the paint with Toluene at a ratio of 1:1for the first coat and add 10-30% Toluene for the second and third coat). 1-2 coats (mixed with 10-30% Toluene) suffice if brightening is the only demand. Apply layers at 30-60-minute intervals.                    Note: Mixing with Toluene is not required for P-2622C.

Reminders

  • Please utilize high-quality Toluene to prevent weakening of anti-yellowing effects.
  • Thick coating leads to whitish appearance of original coatings which is not veryaesthetic looking.
  • A period of 5-7 days must be allowed for sun-drying of finished water-washed pebble walls prior to application of this product.
  • The product should not be accidentally dripped or spilled on PC or plastic boards to avoid damage or breakage.
  • It must be ensured that no other waterproofing materials and coating materials have beenapplied to the construction surface (this may be determined by examining moisture absorption and permeation conditions through water repellent observations).
  • If the filling and sealing material for pebble paving contains waterproofing powder/agentwhich is not mixed/distributed evenly, this product tends to be absorbed unevenly by the base.material, which in turn leads to uneven color shading after coating film drying.
