Plimates ToughFloor P-519C

Single-component, solvent-based, easy application, wear resistance floor paint

Properties

P-519C is a new type of single-component, solvent-based wear resistance floor paint designed to address issues such as chalky substances on concrete. Compared to traditional epoxy, it is more cost-effective, suitable for outdoor use, and solves problems such as yellowing commonly seen with regular epoxy products.

Methods

  • Stir thoroughly with eletric mixer before using. Any sediment or separation is considered a normal phenomenon due to the product charateristic.
  • Dilute P-519C with 30-40% toluene or xylene (facilitates membrane formation and defoaming) when used as base coat. As for finish paint, dilute it with 20-30%.
  • Remove all objects, dust, and loose material from the surface and keep them dry. Prime with Plimates solvent-based primer (or P-519C diluted with toluene). Allow the primer to dry, then apply at least 2 complete coverage thin coats of P-519C at 60-minute intervals.
  • Application by brush or roller thinly and evenly. Each layer should not exceed 0.2mm.

Reminders

  • Fill and level the irregularities of substrate. Allow it to dry before proceeding with P-519C.
  • It is not recommended to apply at excessive film thickness in one layer or during poor ventilation. This may delay the drying and curing time.
  • If the finished surface needs to be roughened for slip resistance, mix 50-100% quartz sand of the appropriate size. However, do not mix sand into the final coat of floor paint.
  • Do not apply to substrate with rising moisture, as blisters or bubbles may occur.
  • This product is flammable. Store in cool dry area, away from sparks, open flames and direct sunlight.
