Construction surface cleanliness and sturdiness affects waterproofing performance

Remaining dust due to insufficient cleaning of construction surfaces results in pseudo-adhesion (just like mochi loses its stickiness when it is covered with flour) which in turn leads to detachment. Waterproofing layers applied to non-sturdy, loose substrates tear and lose their effect as the substrate collapses or is displaced.
